Peppermint Lip Balm

Peppermint Lip Balm is perfect for anyone who wants a cool, bracing lift for their lips. It's sharp and unmistakable, waking up the lips up rather than just softening them.

Suits: Suitable for all skin types.

Formulator's note: Peppermint is a staple for lip care so I would be remiss if I didn’t have one in the range. I’ve deliberately kept the ingredient list minimal while delivering a protective balm to lock in moisture. Shea Butter is great for dry skin, Fractionated Coconut Oil is easily absorbed and non-greasy while Beeswax gives structure and stability.

What is a lip balm? A concentrated, water-free balm made from plant butter, oil and wax that seals in moisture and protects the lips, rather than a liquid or gloss in a tube.

Did you know: Peppermint is actually a natural hybrid of Watermint and Spearmint, first recorded in England in the late 17th century.

Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride (Fractionated Coconut) Oil, Cera Alba (Beeswax), Mentha Piperita (Peppermint) Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E). Naturally occurring allergens found in essential oils: Limonene.

Please note: the use of beeswax makes this balm unsuitable for Vegans.

A gentle note on care: For external use only. Avoid direct eye contact and application to the mucous membranes or broken skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use. Not suitable for children under the age of 3.

While Sugarbush balms have been carefully formulated to be heat stable, keep yours somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight — it’s mostly butter and oils. If it starts to soften in the hotter months, a short spell in the fridge will firm it back up. The blog has more info on managing anhydrous cosmetics in the heat.

For the best scent and texture, use within 6 months of opening.
